UV disinfection and fabric washing
We use UV light to regularly disinfect all clinic areas. UV light destroys microorganisms on surfaces that traditional disinfectants may not reach. All fabrics — towels, blankets, and dog beds — are washed after every use. Disposable materials are used whenever possible.
Anaesthesia and air quality
During inhalation anaesthesia, we use filters that prevent the spread of microbes between patients via the anaesthesia equipment. Floors are disinfected twice daily and more thoroughly as needed. Ventilation ensures clean indoor air in all areas.
ISFM cat-friendly standards
We follow International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) standards for cat-friendly clinic practice. This means special attention to hygiene for cat patients, separate waiting areas and examination rooms for cats, and the use of pheromone products to reduce stress.
